Main function
Accumulation systems for bottles and containers are conveyor modules designed to create a buffer zone between different production machines in order to maintain continuous product flow despite speed variations or temporary downstream stoppages.
They absorb production fluctuations, reduce line downtime, and ensure a stable supply to packaging or processing equipment. Accumulation tables therefore play a key role in optimizing overall line performance.
Typical applications
· FIFO accumulation (First In First Out): Products move forward in the order they enter and exit in the same order. Recommended when traceability or product sequence is critical.
· LIFO accumulation (Last In First Out): Products accumulated upstream of a bottleneck are released in reverse order. A compact solution when product order is not a priority.
· Recirculating accumulation: Products circulate in a loop until the downstream machine becomes available. This allows high buffer capacity without stopping the upstream line.
