Recently, our client, a co-packer located in Quebec, faced an exciting challenge: creating an entirely new line to accumulate and cool a new range of beauty care products seamlessly integrated into its existing infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Storcan was selected to take\u00a0on this complex challenge with two key strategic objectives:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reduce product handling by operators,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Significantly increase the production rate\u00a0to optimize the cooling process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Storcan Solution<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We had to design a line that would seamlessly fit with existing conveyors while offering a simple and quick disassembly for easy cleaning. Our technicians considered various solutions, including the idea of installing a cooling\u00a0spiral; however, given the particularity of the product, this idea was not the most effective in maintaining its integrity and quality. We found an alternative that would minimize the footprint while maintaining optimal efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Storcan designated and integrated a solution composed of the following technologies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two custom\u00a0MatTop Recirculating accumulation tables, arranged one above the other on 2 levels,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A side gripper elevator system to allow the passage of products between the two table levels.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This approach optimized the accumulation process while reducing manual handling to cool products more efficiently and safely, achieving an impressive production rate ranging between 150 and 300 products per minute.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>A Strong Partnership and Ongoing Support<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the line was operational, our commitment to customer satisfaction did not fade.
