End-of-Line & Palletizing
Sanitary Pick & Place
Main function
The sanitary Pick & Place system is an automated robotic cell designed to pick products moving on a conveyor and place them precisely into a target configuration (tray, carton, case, or other support).
Based on a robot + vision system + adapted end-of-arm tooling architecture, it identifies the position and orientation of products, gently picks them, and places them in a repeatable configuration synchronized with the line speed. This type of solution improves productivity, precision, and consistency in repetitive handling operations on automated production lines.
Typical applications
· Automated loading of products into trays, cartons, or cases
· Unloading or grouping of products at the output of processing or packaging operations
· Sorting, orienting, or grouping of individual food products
· Handling fragile products requiring gentle gripping
Key benefits
· Gentle and hygienic handling: Sanitary architecture and adapted grippers allow the handling of sensitive food products without damage.
· High speed with repeatable precision: Pick & place robots execute fast and consistent cycles, ensuring reliable product positioning unit after unit.
· Multi-product flexibility: Format changes can be performed through programming or quick gripper changeover to accommodate multiple product references.
· Dynamic synchronization with conveyors: Operation with conveyor tracking and vision systems allows picking products in motion without interrupting product flow.
· Improved ergonomics and operational efficiency: Automation of repetitive tasks reduces manual handling and increases production stability.
